Ruined It – Magtymguly Pyragy

Ruined It
Look, how my fate has ruined the building of my poor soul.
Look at what the world ruined,
Creating the pain in my heart,
Having deprived me of my dignity.
If only prosperity comes from God,
If only sad eyes start shining with happiness,
If only the poor realize the value of the motherland,
These are the things that we have been missing.
Let a brave man be your brother,
Otherwise you will not save your head from trouble.
Your devoted friend will look for your demerits,
And will try to spread them among your people.
What a brave man without a horse,
No wolves will be found near him if he has one.
Countries with gardens and palaces
All have turned into plain fields.
Magtymguly, now lost his mind,
Will an old man say his words before leaving this world?
Lions who roamed at dawn early
In the morning came wondering.
